SENIOR TRANSFER AGENT
Role Description
This is a full-time role, located in Luxembourg. As a Senior Consultant Transfer Agency at our client office, you will liaise with clients and third-party administrators to manage, facilitate and oversee all aspects of the transfer agency function, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. You will apply expertise in transfer agency processes, settlement, and reconciliation to process complex TA transactions and support clients.
Job description
- Processing of capital calls, subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers requests of all designated Funds in line with client instructions
- Identify breaks and unidentified cash movements
- Generate various monthly, quarterly, and yearly TA reports from internal system upon Clients requests in line with agreed SLA’s
- Prepare weekly and monthly KPIs
- Update and Link investors related static data (bank accounts, Identification documents, contact details/change of contact details)
- Prepare / Update internal procedures and checklists in cooperation with management to meet business need.
- Maintaining investors share registers for all fund structures serviced
- Participate in periodic internal and external audits, Compliance and Risk sample checks
- Liaise with relevant AML KYC DD and other internal teams in the review of investor’s documents to ensure all relevant documents and information required to on-board a client has been received, verified, and approved before setting up of investor’s account to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements before processing investors transactions.
- Daily Cash-flow monitoring and reconciliation
- Provide support to the Registrar team in relation to TA transactions for Corporate Actions when required
- Review of underlying investors agreements and setup/update of relevant internal system
- Prepare / generate regular investors statements and other relevant client reports
- Work on new fund setup in the internal Transfer Agency system
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in business, accounting, finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, specifically in transfer agency operations, preferably within the asset management industry.
- Expertise in financial products and the associated transfer agency processes, including an in-depth understanding of Euronext Fund Service and Clearstream.
- Good knowledge of other TA systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and analyze complex issues, while maintaining a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and experience working with financial database systems.
- Familiarity with financial regulations, particularly UCITS and AIFMD directives, and cross-border regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Asset Management a must
- Strong knowledge of the Luxembourg investment Fund industry
